Fraîche is subsidiary brand of a beauty company to sell essential oil hand sanitizers. I was contracted by e-commerce agency ECOM Department during the planning stages of the product launch to design the sitemap, website, email templates, packaging. The above image is the proposed final packaging design. I suggested brown bottles since its color functionality avoids deterioration and protects the aromatic and therapeutic properties of the essential oils. Brown bottles are commonly used and associated with natural and organic products, which is the main benefit the client wanted to promote; this is visually carried over in a warm yet neutral color palette: dark dull blue text on a cream label.

I referenced the moodboard and font (left image) that a previous designer proposed to create a modernized moodboard, color palette, and site map (right images). The previous style that the client wanted was more vintage and used a lot of yellow hued

I referenced the moodboard and font (left image) that a previous designer proposed to create a modernized moodboard, color palette, and site map (right images). The previous style that the client wanted was more vintage and used a lot of yellow hued photographs. I carried over the vintage property in the new color palette with warm yet neutral colors. With the new moodboard, I wanted to elicit a feeling of being light and bright.

The above images shows the final version of the website design: landing page (first row left), shop page (first row middle), and search page (first row right). The design was inspired by using negative white space to create a “light” feeling. Each page has full-bleed blocks to engage the viewer. The client provided vintage illustrations of fruits and flowers to show the natural ingredients and the essential oils. These key ingredients are cropped in a white circle with some parts of it bleeding through to make the design more dynamic. The “Our Story” block on the landing page and the “Good Vibes” block on the shop page will have a parallax scroll effect where the image shapes animate into the frame. The “Good Vibes” block on the shop page (first row middle), was initially its own page to highlight the product benefits and ingredients, but we decided to have it on the product page so its not repeated. The last row of images show the following web pages designs: about page, contact us page, delivery & returns page with expanded view.

The email templates from left to right are: welcome, newsletter, announcement, deals, review, abandoned cart. There are 3 designs, one is more minimal and implemented on welcome, newsletter, and review. The second design uses a bigger space for the logo for visual engagement and is used in announcement and deals. The third design is a combination of both designs and is used in abandoned cart.
