Rebranding efforts for a charity in India

Red Cross Apostle Ministries is a charity organization in Chennai, India, that supports children and women in by giving them primary education. I was tasked to redesign the logo that was created in the late 1990’s. I worked with a Project Manager and Supervisor over a period of 12 months to decide on brand fonts, new color palette, and new logo. The old logo was illustration of an angel on a globe, so the initial logo redesign proposal was to design a minimal version of the old logo. As the revisions progressed, we agreed on a more abstract depiction two people reaching out to each other for help and support.
